Behind Bars

Is this what a convict with a family longs to see from where he is, behind the bars that separate him from his loved ones?
For some of us who subjugate ourselves to being behind proverbial 'bars' in our lives... can we step out and make a difference for ourselves and to those whom we affect with our lives?
